Postdoctoral Fellow/PhD Students

Multiple Postdoc and PhD student positions are available at UMass Lowell under the support of NIH R01 grants.

​

The students are expected to develop tomographic reconstruction algorithms using deep learning techniques for x-ray CT and nuclear medicine, as well as other applications. Two of the emphasis of the openings are for cardiac imaging and photon-counting CT for high temporal resolution.

For the post-doc positions, the screening and offer are rolling until all the openings are filled.  In the lab, the PhD students have three options for the PhD program: (a) Electrical Engineering, (b) Computer Engineering, and (3) Biomedical Engineering. All the applicants need to submit both GRE and TOEFL/IELTS scores. However, for excellent applicants, it is possible to waive or postpone the GRE score requirement. The start date can be Spring or Fall of 2024.
